Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Manor Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: Warm Sea Temperature: Warm Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Started at the Dip which was rubbish, and headed to the Manor end as an
experiment...
Far far better wind-wise - a good clean, solid F5, very well powered on a
fully downhauled 5.4m at all times, no blobbing required.
Much choppier sea than the Dip, and none of the nice rolling swell that was
at the Dip earlier, but some very nice ramps if you wanted to get
airbourne. Nice sandy launch too, with no shorebreak.
Unfortunately just me out, so I sailed and watched a lovely sunset over the
dock cranes, and stopped when some ominous looking black clouds appeared on
the horizon.
So - sea state nicer at the Dip (apart from high-tide shorebreak), wind
much nicer at the Manor. Good to know.
[sessions were literally 10mins apart as I'd only partly derigged]
